“My wife and I were on the hunt for a photographer for our wedding and with so many photographers to go through, I had fallen down the google rabbit hole trying to find a photographer which got super overwhelming lol. A coworker of mine ended up referring me to Kastle, she had done their wedding photos when she was first starting out in her photography career and they had nothing but good things to say about her. Kastle was the first photographer I had physically reached out to and ended up being the only photographer I reached out to. Her bubbly personality along with her portfolio made our decision to go with her a no brainer! She’s such a lovely person and you can tell she has a lot of pride and love for what she does, which she should because she’s definitely good at it! Our engagement photos turned out amazing and I had a couple special requests for photo ideas I would like to capture at our August wedding this year and she seemed just as excited as we are bring those ideas to light!
With all that being said, I highly recommend Kastle Photography! Her prices are super reasonable for all she includes and she captures all of your moments in these beautiful pictures to keep for your memories <3″

“I had the absolute joy of having Kastle shoot our wedding in August. She has a wide range of packages; my partner and I went for the one that included a free 30 minute engagement shoot and a thumbdrive-which is such a thoughtful idea.
She was super responsive via email, and when we met, she was so warm and you can really tell she loves what she does. She also helped establish a timeline for the day of the wedding which was so helpful as a bride to have. Day of the wedding, both her and her assistant (her mom that day) were so sweet and thoughtful as the day went along. It was HOT and they were making sure we had water and rested, and Kastle just went along with the vibe of the day. We also got our sneak peeks not even a week later, and it was an generous amount!! “My husband and I found Kastle through a grueling search online looking at various maternity photographers/styles/ and prices under a time crunch (and financial crunch) as I was already 35 weeks pregnant. Kastle and her photos were everything I was looking for, and by some miracle Kastle managed to fit us into her schedule before it was too late (I went into labour 3 weeks after our session!). Communication with Kastle via email in regards to what I was hoping to achieve was effortless and she was incredibly flexible and understanding when I had a *specific* location I wanted to do my maternity shoot. On the day of the shoot she made us both feel comfortable and did not hesitate to offer specific direction and advice in regards to positioning and poses (which is 100% what I needed). I was so grateful to have her guidance and the entire experience just flew by in a blink of an eye. The photos turned out flawless and she managed to get so many genuine smiles and laughs in so many photos. It will be so hard to choose which ones to put up in our home. “We found Kastle through a search of local photographers in the Mount Vernon area near our venue. When we looked through the photos she had on her website, we knew she would be the perfect photographer for us. Not only did she take gorgeous photos, but she also had experience taking photos in the snow. With our wedding being in February 2020 we were unsure what weather we’d be facing. We met with her shortly after reaching out and the meeting was even more wonderful than we expected. She was so kind and sweet and genuinely wanted to know about us as a couple and what moments we would like to be captured on our big day. It wasn’t just a transaction to her, she loves what she does and does it so well!
She was a great communicator and was patient with us when it came to last minute time changes. The day of the wedding, Kastle arrived on time with an assistant (who was so amazing too, thank you for holding my dress and helping me put on my shoes!!). Kastle captured all of our special moments and had great ways of posing us and making us feel comfortable (it’s not every day you are in front of the camera like that!). We didn’t have any snow, but it was COLD! Kastle was so efficient and professional and was able to get the family and our wedding party in and out so they wouldn’t freeze.

“We feel like we hit the jackpot when we discovered Kastle through an online search. We had been trying to get maternity pictures done and had another photographer cancel on us last minute. It was upsetting as we only had a limited time to get these pictures done. Kastle arranged to do our session within days of contacting her. She managed to wrangle our family photoshoot in the cold, with a 1.5 yr old past his nap time and a dog! She didn’t even break a sweat!!! The photos she captured were beyond amazing, absolutely breathtaking. The entire time I was thinking to myself “There’s no way we’re going to get a picture of all of us smiling, with our dog, in-between our baby fussing!” Nope. -When contacting her, she was incredibly responsive, quick and helpful. her communication was unparalleled. I had reached out to a handful of photographers and she was constantly quick to respond with kind and clear communication!
-We don’t know anything about weddings so she offered advice and and helped us come up with a timeline for our big day which was incredibly helpful.
-We are animal people and working with a photographer who was willing to work with our dog was essential! she not only was willing but also LOVES animals and made it known that Maisey (our dog) would be welcome with open arms and not a burden at all!
-Kastle is also LGBTQ+ friendly which was really important to me, as many of my family members and friends are in that community and I felt like it was important to have vendors who are allies of the LGBTQ+ community.
-I was very nervous having our pictures taken, as me and Braden have hardly had that happen by people who weren’t our friends or by the people who took our santa pics in the mall! Kastle put my anxieties at ease and even helped me with the outfits we were planning on wearing. she went above and beyond our expectations and was able to make us feel comfortable when shooting our pictures, as well as capture our personalities and the love we have for each other in the pictures she took!
If you’re looking for a photographer, she’s your person! Braden and I are in awe with her talent and her kindness and we are just so so grateful to have found her. we can’t wait for her to shoot our wedding and plan on using her for future family photoshoots as well!
