When I first met Adrienne & Matt in person, we IMMEDIATELY hit it off. We talked about their love for the great outdoors and how much they liked to hike. It was actually on a hike where Matt proposed to Adrienne. On New Year’s Eve, they went to Mt. Rainier to do a snowshoe hike and when they got to the top of the mountain, Matt popped the question.
We chose Ebey’s Landing near Coupeville, WA, on the western shore of Whidbey Island for their engagement session. This national historic reserve offers acres and acres of rich farmland, ocean views, forests, paintbrush plants, and lake walks are all part of the allure which draws people to this spot every year. We of course captured photos during golden hour- my favorite time of day! The couple even took advantage of my changing tent to switch outfits halfway through the shoot. These two made my job so easy and relaxing.
